Treasure Hunt Rules. Objectives and Terms


  • The CSI Hunt is an adventurous outdoor activity testing teams on problem solving, to be resourceful, time management and decision making.

  • There will be a lot of communication, strategies, delegation skill, utilizing individual / team strength to maximize everyone's involvement. It also proves that everyone's different role or task is as important as others and to feel appreciated

  • The hunt emphasizes on how team members should manage their respective team. Collectively the 'team' must choose the right person for the right job and to identify the strength and weakness of an individual.

  • With a lot of team involvement and fun, it is a perfect activity to enhance their 'people skill' for a better working and personal life. Without the right strategies teams will find it difficult to successfully complete the hunt.


Treasure Hunt Objective


  1. To solve a total of 10 mysteries question

  2. To complete a report sheet which have 10 questions in total. The answers can be obtained from solving the mysteries.

  3. To complete 4 team tasks.

  4. To solve a mystery word puzzle - Solving The Attitude That Alice Needs to Acquire to be successful in life


Rules & Regulations: Please take special note of comments which are highlighted


  1. The time frame will be 150 minutes. After the 150 minutes is over, participants are given 10 minutes to complete the report sheet and the mystery word puzzle Time management is especially important. Good judgment on time spent on each question is an asset (time management).

  2. If there is a task associated with the clue question then participant has to answer the question first before completing the task.

  3. Some task requires all participants to and some task requires only one of two members to do the task Tasks must be competed or forgo in the case of shortage of time

  4. Dashes (-) in question are referning to separation of words.

  5. Participants must be able to think out of the box.




Thinking outside the box is to think differently unconventionally or from a new perspective

Thinking outside the box requires different attributes that include

  • Willingness to take new perspectives to day-to-day-work

  • Openness to do different things and to do things differently

  • Focusing on the value of finding new ideas and acting on them

  • Striving to create value in new ways

  • Listening to others

  • Supporting and respecting others when they come up with new ideas
